CALM - ORDER - PEACE

My personal goals are to establish a calm environment where students feel safe and accepted, to maintain order and  structure to enhance student learning and achievement,  and to exemplify a peaceful demeanor as I actively engage with each student.

Our daily Bellringer (class starter) will consist of 5 questions, one from each of the five major strands of the South Carolina curriculum standards. We will have an assessment after the completion of 5 groups of Fantastic Five questions. This will be a vital portion of our class, and students will be asked to take notes, work examples, and participate in demonstrations.

My definition of HOMEWORK is unfinished classwork.

Absentees need to check the appropriate basket for make-up work upon their return to school.
